The hotel in Taunton offers fantastic value with rooms that were a perfect size for me and my partner, featuring an adjoining door to another room. The service was excellent, with staff very accommodating and friendly, especially as we were traveling through with our dog. The location is conveniently situated between London and Penzance, making it ideal for overnight stays on route to holiday destinations. However, the dining experience was disappointing with limited breakfast options, and the hotel could improve on cleanliness. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly staff and great value for the price make it a worthwhile stay.
